For some reason though it seems to work, the two colours seem to hold together. Normally I would believe that the two would clash together, causing an interference in the overall design. Will need to have a look at the Brief to confirm this.Ĭolours have been introduced into the poster, using polar opposites (red and blue). Could quite possibly fit into both postcard designs. Overall I should introduce quotes or other little bits of information, so that the viewer can understand the history of the font. Giving credit to the creator, this would work very well with the historic postcard that’ll also need to be created. Maybe this should be included into my designs as well. She mentions the creators name ‘Frank Hinman Pierpot’ (which she has also mention ‘supervised by’). Due to the fact that the spacing between the letters and the colour coordination fits perfectly with the overall design. The first design shown on her blog is presented clearly. Graphic Designer Jordan Hill created a few posters using the Rockwell typeface.
